The critical bonus from this skill, as well as the master title, will be applied to the player's magic critical provided they are dual wielding. 'Pseudo-dual wield' weapons, such as Chef's Passion, do not receive bonuses from Dual Wield Mastery. Elves cannot learn this skill due to their inability to dual wield. This is THE build with everything. Kills anyone in 6 seconds guaranteed. Master Debater #2. More power to you if you want to play your templar as a mage/priest dual class. I want to play with a 2h sword, and they are currently making my life exceedingly difficult.
Nexon has just launched Mabinogi Duel on the App Store and the game is extremely addictive and of high quality. I spend the entire morning playing the game and I am here to share with you some Mabinogi Duel cheats and tips to build the ultimate deck in the game and get to a great head start. Since I only have several hours of play time under my belt, this guide is mostly aimed at beginners, but I am sure that more advanced players might want to check it out as well in case they missed something so far.
Either way, we should not waste any time and instead we should check out below the Mabinogi Duel tips and cheats in our strategy guide! (And enjoy the wiggle, wiggle, wiggle…)
1. Complete the campaign ASAP
You want to play the campaign in Mabinogi Duel as soon as possible and try to complete it just as fast. Ignore everything else for now and only focus on the campaign. Also, make sure that you spend time reading the story because you will get quite a bit of gameplay mechanics and general tips in the dialogue. You might miss something important skipping through the dialogue (I did it at first and it wasn’t pleasant), so invest some time in the main story. There is a lot to learn in the game and excellent mechanics to get used with, plus cards and other rewards to win!
2. Ignore the Cat Merchant
The Cat Merchant will bother you pretty often at first and usually his deals will be really bad. Do not accept any of his deals during the first couple of days (at least), or until you feel really confident that you know your cards perfectly and you are 100% sure that you’re making a great deal.
3. Take advantage of the poor AI to win your battles
Finding the perfect balance in the game between attacking the hero and the cards it summons is key, but when playing against the AI, things are a bit easier because it’s usually a good strategy to simply exploit the holes it has in defense, place high defense cards in front of its heroes and reap on the benefits. Always try to anticipate the game ahead, plan your moves and you will soon be able to defeat all AI opponents easily.
4. Don’t forget to level up and revive cards
There are three extra mechanics that are extremely important in the game, and we’ll talk about each of them below:
– Level Up: Usually, it’s best to level up as soon as you have the chance because a new level increases the stats of your cards, gives you some extra resources and allows you to play more actions per turn. The maximum level is 3, but try to get there ASAP.
– Revive cards: When you run out of cards to play, you can revive some of the cards that were destroyed for the cost of some Health Points. Do so when you have a decent number of cards lost (I would recommend 4-5 or above), otherwise it’s not really worth the loss of HP. You can see how much health you lose by checking out the number near the coffin in your resources area.
– Get extra resources. There are multiple resources that you can get in the game and they are randomly rewarded, so you have another thing to worry about and find balance with. Ideally, you should play all available cards before drawing new resources, but some cards are better not played. Also keep an eye on the cards played as some might give or take resources from you or opponent.
5. Complete the daily and draft missions
You should try to complete each set of missions every day to get the great rewards they offer. Bookworm free game. If you don’t want to go through all of them, though, start with the most difficult one you can complete and work your way backwards to the first. This way, you maximize the number of rewards per each mission that you complete.
6. Have fun in the Arenas
Once you get access to the arena, everything gets a lot better! You can play in one of the multiple Arenas in the game and win the amazing rewards that they have to offer. Find the easiest one for you and work your way up from there, winning as many rewards as possible and building your deck. Here is where the real magic happens and where you get the biggest goodies for free. Try to win as many games in a row as possible in order to get the great bonus – do that before you quit the game in order to increase the number of potential wins by your defenses controlled by the AI. It’s not guaranteed to win, but you will at least get some wins and extra points.
7. How to build a perfect deck in the game
Probably tens of pages can be written here and many debates started, but I will try to keep things as basic as possible. Deck building in Mabinogi Duel is first of all based on the cards that you have – there will probably be no identical decks in the game and this is what makes it awesome. So check out your cards and bring in the ones you consider the most useful – this would be the common sense tip.
However, you should consider a few things: single or double-element decks are considered extremely powerful if you have the right cards, but the truth is that you will most likely need a lot of play time in order to be able to build a really good single element or even double element deck. So until you get there, mix and match three elements and try to keep numbers as even as possible (4 cards for each element, for example). Deadbolt locks home depot. Another strategy would be to get two really powerful, high value cards from one of the elements and mix the other two with lower value cards. The options are endless and you have to keep trying until you get the best one.
You should do your best to find a balance between support and action cards (like healers, boosters and bombs) and actual “warriors” that you place in front of you. Also have both high and low value cards: ideally cheap fillers for charging fast and high value, solid cards to play once you get the resources and level up enough in order to give the final blow.
The key here is to find a flexible deck, one that is good against all sorts of enemies you will face. Take your new deck and try it on the Cat Merchant, tweaking it as you go – but you can only really understand how solid it is by playing in the missions and especially the Arenas. Always look out for new cards, always look at what is working for your opponent and what is not working for you and you will easily find cards to replace and eventually you will have an awesome deck.
