Every act is the perfect length, so you get a beautiful breath of fresh air every now and again. The characters are some of the best in any video game I've played, each filled to the brim with personality and backstory. It's just plain fun to run around and talk to people. The gameplay, art style and music is gorgeous. The singing mechanic is used in so many different ways, wether your luring birds or using it as a light, singing is marvelous.

No spoilers, but I will tell you that the ending is incredibly satisfying. Deserves a sequel.

The message is that the world is in danger, and the only way to save it is to sing the Earthsong to the Goddess.

You have to adventure around the world to learn the whole song. Upon waking up, the Bard finds his town now haunted by Ghosts, which you defeat with song. Everything you do is controlled by Singing, from conversations to solving puzzles. Mach the tones, and sing your way to victory. Gameplay is mostly straight forward, allowing things to be pretty simple. Though most concepts aren't used more than once, keeping the singing mechanic fairly fresh throughout the game.

The amount of Characters, each with their own personality, is staggering. There are so many people to interact with in this world! The game also does an incredible job of conveying the Bard's mood, from the colors of the environments to the Bard's expressions. There is a lot to explore, and the many ways you get to use your singing to advance is amazing! This is a spectacular adventure that breaks the standard conventions of an adventure game, and will make for a great addition to most game collections!
